What are all these yellow tags?
By Jay.Dawkins. Filed in Uncategorized |Early this week, students may have noticed something new around campus and in the library. Over 100 Yellow tags of different shapes and sizes adorned items where others have ‘left their mark’ on NC State.
\The Senior Class has embarked on highlighting examples of donated items around campus with big yellow ‘Leave Your Mark’ tags. The project is designed to remind us all of the generosity of past benefactors and how their donations impact the quality of our academic experience at NC State.
Senior Class gifts that are tagged include:
Example #36 – The ergonomic workstations in the library learning commons
Example #48 – the comfortable foam chairs on the library second floor
Example #71 – The class gift of 1913, a monument and sundial outside of Primrose Hall
Example #79 – The class gift of 1997, a rehabilitation station in the Health Center
Example #88 – The Gregg Museum of Art, built entirely with private donations
And, of course, today’s students can ‘leave their mark’ too. Seniors can donate to the class gift, where you can support any academic department or the endorsed class project: a ‘2010 bell’ as part of the Finish the Bell Tower effort.

We can all ‘Leave our Mark’ on NC State. Future generations, just like students today, will know that we cared.
